The Taupo Property Market remains active on the back of strong growth through 2017 and 2018. Total residential sales volume in 2018 are at very similar levels to 2017. Sales volume is now generally within the 55-75 sales per month and provides an active market particularly given the low level of listings being at 297

Retail Precinct Vacancy Survey 2018

The Keys Valuers Taupo Retail Precinct survey was conducted in May 2018. The results show there are currently 15 retail shop vacancies from a total of 280 retail premises, a decrease from the 18 recorded in May 2017. This equates to a vacancy rate for the total Taupo Retail Precinct of 5.5% by shop numbers, down from 6.5% in 2017.

The Taupo Property Market remains active on the back of strong growth through 2017. Total residential sales volume in 2017 was down 22% on 2016. Sales volume is now generally within the 55-85 sales per month, this still provides an active market particularly given the low level of listings being at 350.

The results show there are currently 18 retail shop vacancies from a total of 278 retail premises, a rise from the 15 recorded in May 2016. This equates to a vacancy rate for the total Taupo Retail Precinct of 6.5% by shop numbers, up from 5.5% in 2016.
